Window bird feeder

A porch bird feeder for your window. Watch the small cuties while they eat at a safe distance from cats or squirrels.
You can either mount the design on your window with regular household suction cups in various sizes or on your wall.
Instructions suction cups
You will need three suction cups with a maximum diameter of 50mm, preferably with a diameter between 40 and 50 mm. Please refer to the images for selection help regarding appearance and measurement guide. These cups are widely available on amazon or your local hardware store. Measure the diameter of yours and select the holder file accordingly by their number. They are provided from 8 to 15 mm in 1mm steps.
Print the matching holder
Print all other parts
Glue the roof onto your base
Insert the suction cups into the holder
Clean the window and suction cups. You can use the IPA that you normally use for printer bed cleaning.
Press the holder onto your window
Fill the insert with bird seeds and insert it into the base
Place the assembly on the holder from above
Wait for birds
Once empty you can remove only the insert to refill. Remove the assembly from the holder for cleaning.
Enjoy helping your garden friends through the winter!
Instructions screws
Get two screws with a maximum head diameter of 8 mm and maximum shaft diameter of 3 mm. The distance between the holes in the holder is 100 mm.
Print the screw holder and all other parts
Glue the roof onto your base
Place the screws so that the shaft still stands out at about 4 mm
Fill the insert with bird seeds and insert it into the base
Place the assembly on the holder from above
Wait for birds
Once empty you can remove only the insert to refill. Remove the assembly from the holder for cleaning.
