The ‘Reversed Lampshade’ is the third of three in the ‘Dynamic Twist’ collection. This collection focused on showing the abilities of 3D printing to print complexed forms with overhangs to create dynamic forms that could not have been created with any traditional mass manufacture method in one piece.
This product has been designed for an E27 lampholder [40mm Diameter] if you can't find one of those let us know and we can supply you with an adapter plate/alter the design.
We printed this design with yellow PLA [RealFilament].
We have tested this product for two months with a 13W light bulb and there has been no deformation of the PLA. If you use PLA we wouldn't recommend going much higher than this because of the mostly enclosed design.
To print this design we used an Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer and the print in the photos is printed with a 0.6 mm nozzle [you can also use 0.4mm +0.8mm].
