How to Set Up & Use Bambú
To operate Bambú, you will need an aquarium pump, which should be placed at the bottom of the base container (base.stl). A water outlet tube must be connected to the pump to transport nutrient-rich water to the top of the structure. Any standard aquarium pump should work, but ensure it has enough power to reach the desired garden height.

The base lid (basetop.stl) has a hole to allow the power cable of the pump to pass through and connect to an electrical outlet. This hole can also be used to refill water as needed or to add nutrients.

During assembly, the water tube should be inserted through each modular planter (bambu.stl) as the garden is built, reaching the top planter (bambutop.stl). At this point, the PVC tubing (commonly sold as aquarium equipment) should be cut and sealed with the final cap (uptop.stl).

Once Bambú is assembled and the water circulation system is activated, it’s time to start growing! Plants can be placed directly into the planter containers (planter.stl) with their bare roots or secured using expanded clay pebbles (LECA) for better stability.
