We launched the Easter Egg hunt in March around with $1,000 in prizes. Filament drops, subscription discounts, a few brand deals. That was the whole plan.

Then Polymaker joined. Then Magigoo. Then Helio Additive, AzureFilm, and Kishmake. The prize pool kept growing and by the time we hit the finale we were at over $4,000 in total prizes for an Easter egg hunt.....on a 3D printing site. Wild, honestly.

Hundreds of people found eggs across the site during the weeks leading up to the finale. Someone found six or seven unique ones on their own. We genuinely have no idea how, and we're impressed and slightly worried for them.

Then April 12th. The Website Became a Maze.

The hunt was live across the entire Cubee site.
The hunt was live across the entire Cubee site.

Nine levels of egg hell. Hundreds of eggs to click through, and most of them? Empty.

Some gave you a clue. Some sent you straight back to the beginning. And then there was Flappy Cubee, which we are not going to apologize for. A lot of people never even made it past the first few levels, and we're sorry about that.

Actually, no we're not.

Level 7. We knew what we were doing.

The DMs throughout the hunt were constant. People asking for hints, sharing theories, losing their minds at level seven together. Members were collaborating in real time, pooling clues, comparing notes, it was all wild and exciting!

People were on Discord and Instagram with their screens up, hunting live. Last year the whole thing wrapped in an hour. This time it went for almost three. Nobody noticed until it was over.

She found the winning egg, the one egg to rule them all, and walked away with a Bambu Lab A1. Nicole, you were genuinely terrifying to watch. Enjoy the 3D printer.

If you want to see exactly how the maze worked and where the winning egg was hiding, we put together a full solution walkthrough. Watch it below.

Thank You.

Thank you to everyone who participated. Every egg found, every clue cracked, every Flappy Cubee attempt counts.

And thank you to Polymaker, Magigoo, Helio Additive, AzureFilm, and Kishmake for the prize support. You turned a fun idea into a crazy hunt people actually stayed up late for.

A personal note: this was my first time running something like this, and honestly it was a little crazy in the best way. None of it happens without Uriah, Erica, Oded, Julia, Benoit, Luis, and Rashid behind the scenes. And none of it means anything without you showing up the way you did. Thank you for making it what it was.

Something new is coming.

We loved how this event went, and we've been quietly planning the next one. This time it's about showing off what you actually make. If you can make your prints look good, pay attention. That's all I'll say for now. 🐝 -Pranav
